We’re going to South Africa!

My boet (brother) is getting married so we are going down to South Africa for 10 days; and I am really looking forward to being in Africa again. I love Latin America (and the people); same for Europe; and southeast Asia; but nothing is like returning back to the drumbeat of Africa.

  1. Fantastic photos of some spectacular birds. Great job, Dale! You’ve certainly whetted my appetite for Africa. I can’t wait to see one of those sunbirds.

    • the sunbirds are great – a few weeks travelling around SA and you could pick up a dozen species including the fabulous Malachite Sunbird (and the Sugarbirds are great too).

  2. Wow, Dale, you sure know how to fan the flames of envy. Great pics, but I bet you come back with better ones.
