A both ighsnitful and lugubrious viewpoint as always.What doesn't make sense to me is that this article appears to assume too much of a thought process behind the nihilism by which our government/society operates. Of course electing a black man because of his race would be foolish, but I think the truth has more to do with the fact that (most) people aren't concerned with it. The act of standing by and allowing a demographic shift due to immigration seems to be more of an ideological repugnance for nationalism/elitism than a direct effrontery to reason. But perhaps I'm just nitpicking, I can't argue with the bulletpoints.
